Demi Lovato opened up about past cocaine addiction

Demi Lovato revealed in an interview with 'Access Hollywood' that in the past she was drug addicted.

Lovato opened up for the first time that she was addicted to cocaine and that her addiction reached such intensity that she couldn't go without it up to "30 minutes to an hour."

She said she did drugs even on the airplanes. Singer reveals, "Something I've never talked about before, but with my drug use I could hide it to where I would sneak drugs. I couldn't go without 30 minutes to an hour without cocaine and I would bring it on airplanes."

"I would smuggle it basically and just wait until everyone in first class would go to sleep and I would do it right there. I'd sneak to the bathroom and I'd do it," says Demi Lovato.

Lovato also spoke about her alcoholic behavior. She spoke about her hitting the rock bottom when she was on her way to the airport at 9 a.m. with a soda can filled with vodka and throwing up in the car.

Lovato's mother Dianna De La Garza also opened up during the interview when she revealed that she herself same as Demi had eating disorder and both of them had to resolve it. Dealing with disorders both, mother and daughter said that dealing with it made them stronger as a family.
