Matt Prater breaks NFL record with 64-yard goal
Last Sunday, Matt Prater of The Denver Broncos broke NFL record when he kicked 64-yard field goal just three second before half time.
NFL historical goal was kicked in Denver during the game against the Tennessee Titans.
Prater said for Denver Post, "I was clueless. I didn't know he was going to call for the field goal. I didn't know the kick would be from where it was. I think it helped me to get out there late. Because I had to rush out there, I didn't have much time to think about it."
The NFL's record previously held by Tom Dempsey who kicked a 63-yard field goal in 1970. Dempsey's record then had been followed by Jason Elam, Sebastian Janikowski and David Akers.
Tennessee Titans lost to Denver Broncos 51-28.
