Zie’l Takes The Stage This Sunday On Bobby Jones Gospel!

It has been a few years since the Gospel industry has heard new music from Zie'l, but that is soon to change when their electrifying appearance on BET's Bobby Jones Gospel airs this Sunday, October 6.  Zie'l performs their new single "Redeemed", delivering one of the most memorable moments of the season as the group's soaring harmonies are matched only by a surprisingly hard-hitting, urban track and a powerful message of being "bought with a price." The performance is a sharp reminder of just why Zie'l is the most exciting group in Gospel music.

Produced by Jamiene "J-Skills" Thompson (Coko of SWV, George Huff), "Redeemed" boldly reintroduces Zie'l as a trio with a vocal prowess that remains as strong as ever.  The buzzworthy track can be purchased at iTunes and other digital providers.  More music from Zie'l will be featured on their upcoming project PLEASE STAND BY...THE EP being released in November on their own Bella Dawn label.

Zie'l (Christina Bell, Keyondra Lockett, and Crystal Bell) first wowed the Gospel music industry as a quartet and immediately garnered national attention and a Stellar Award nomination for their debut album GENESIS, which featured remakes of the Clark Sisters' "Is My Living In Vain" and the James Cleveland favorite "Surely He's Able." The powerhouse group hails from Shreveport, Louisiana and is committed to singing the Gospel in a way that not just entertains, but emboldens people to get to know the Lord better.  Zie'l has shared the stage with many Gospel greats, including Yolanda Adams, Kurt Carr, Kirk Franklin, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kierra Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, The Williams Brothers, Donnie McClurkin and John P. Kee.
