'Zelda' Multiplayer News: Game Mode Follows ‘The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’
In line with Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda" game, it is revealed that the upcoming title's multiplayer is set to come after "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
In an interview with IGN at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016, "The Legend of Zelda" producer Ejo Aonuma teased what fans can expect following "Breathe of the Wild." He said that he would like to take what he had learned from "Breath of the Wild" and see if they could somehow fuse those learning points into another multiplayer "Zelda."
According to Aonuma, a case in point was "Triceforce Heroes," which had followed the same format with "Four Swords," in which a multiplayer had been involved. The game producer added that it was definitely a possibility and they would continue to experiment throughout the "Zelda" franchise.
In 2013, Aonuma revealed that he was interested in rethinking the "conventions" of Zelda and let gamers to accomplish dungeons and tasks regardless of order. In addition, the producer shareed his thoughts on challenging he concept of playing independently.
Previously, it was revealed that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" mentioned about a spin-off title, which stars Sheik. In his interview with Game Rant, "The Legend of Zelda" creator Shigeru Miyamoto said that within the development team, there had been talks about how it might be cool to have a game that featured Sheik as a protagonist.
According to Miyamoto, the title was having maybe a "Zelda" spin-off with Sheik as a protagonist. For him, he thought of it as a possibility.
"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is set to be released on Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo NX in 2017. Watch the trailer here.
