Yoga Pro 3 vs Surface Pro 3 Comparison: Microsoft and Lenovo Offer Laptop Hybrids with New Features
The popularity of laptops seems to be waning with the dawn of new and powerful tablets. However, recently Microsoft and Lenovo have given a new lease on life to laptops following the launch of a new product line that combines the functionality and power of laptops with the portability of tablets.
On June 20, Microsoft released the thinner, but larger version of the Surface Pro "laplet" called the Surface Pro 3. Before the launch of the Surface Pro 3, there were rumors saying the poor sales of the Surface line may force Microsoft to shut it down completely. However, the rumors were proved wrong when Microsoft released the new device.
Then again, Lenovo is also back in the laptop market with the much awaited Yoga 3 Pro. The features of the new device are similar to the existing Yoga 2 Pro, but it comes with a thinner and lighter body. In addition, users need to watch out for the new multi-function hinge specially built for the latest laplet.
