Xiaomi, the third largest smartphone manufacturer globally, is reportedly planning to pamper women by announcing a fashion device that is geared toward them. According to reports, the company, known as the "Apple of China," will launch the product at an event on the occasion of its fifth anniversary on March 31.

Gizmochina reports that Lin Bin, Xiaomi's co-founder, has possibly revealed a wee bit of detail relating to what will emerge at the upcoming event. According to latest reports, Xiaomi released a teaser image on its official account on Weibo regarding the precise type of product it will be unveiling at the March 31 event. The teaser image shows a dress with a bow accompanied by with the words 'NSSJ' on top. Going by the color of the image, which is pink, it is being speculated that the Chinese tech giant may possibly release a product geared toward women.

As of now, the complete form of 'NSSJ' is not known, but it is likely to be made public at the event. Apart from this particular product that is being targeted to women, it is expected that Xiaomi will also release a series of devices on the occasion of its fifth anniversary.

It is expected that the Chinese tech firm will announce the successor of Mi Pad - the only tablet the company has launched thus far. Different from its predecessor that sports NVIDIA Tegra K1 SoC, it is likely that the future slate will be powered by Intel's powerful Atom chipset, packing a processor clocked at 1.8 GHz.

In addition, there are rumors that the other specifications of the two tablets will be same. However, a confirmation will come only when the March 31 event kicks off. Moreover, Xiaomi may also announce its highly anticipated E4 and Mi Note Pro, which run on Snapdragon 801 and Snapdragon 810 SoCs, respectively.
