'XCOM 2' News & Update: Firaxis Reveals Game Trophies, Here Are The Details

In line with Firaxis Games' "XCOM 2," the game's Trophies will reportedly be at part with the Achievements for its Xbox One version.

Exophase unveiled a long list of Trophies for "XCOM 2." These include the "Platinum: Commander," "Alien Hunters" DLC Trophies, and "Shen's Last Gift" DLC Trophies. They are classified as bronze, silver, and gold.

The bronze Trophies for "Platinum: Commander" include Earth Avenged, which overthrows aliens at any difficulty level; Tinker, which builds an experimental item in the Proving Grounds; Rise of the Resistance, which makes contact with a region; First Blood, which completes the tactical tutorial, and Rebel Radio, which builds Resistance Comms, among others.

The Silver Trophies include Defender of Humanity, which overthrows aliens on Commander difficulty; Heavy Metal, which kills a foe with heavy weapons in the game; Exquisite Timing, which beats the game on Commander difficulty; Who Needs Tygan?, which beats the last mission with conventional gears; and The Few and the Proud, which beats the game on Commander difficulty, among others.

The Gold Trophies for "Platinum: Commander" cover Immortal Commander, which overthrows aliens on Legend difficulty, and Valhalla, which beats the game on Commander difficulty in Ironman Mode.

For "Alien Hunters" DLC, the Silver Trophies include Regicide, which kills an alien ruler upon initial encounter; Enemy Adopted, which uses a ruler armor trait versus an alien ruler; and Not Throwing Away My Shot, which kills an alien ruler while it tries to escape.

Meanwhile, two Silver Trophies for "Shen's Last Gift" DLC have been revealed. One is A Torch Passed, which beats the Lost Towers mission. The other one is Matter Over Mind, which defeats an Avatar with a Spark unit.

According to Gaming Bolt, majority of the aforementioned are well-designed, as compared to some those found in other game installments.

Developed by Firaxis, "XCOM 2" was initially released on Feb. 5.
