Xbox One Update: Microsoft Gives More Options, Including Startup Chime Settings
Microsoft is now giving users a lot more choices when it comes to the Xbox One startup chime with the latest update it rolled out recently.
According to Techno Buffalo, Xbox One owners can change the startup chime by going to Settings then the Power & Startup option before going to the Power Mode & Startup.
They can turn the startup chime on, or if they want to hear the tone only when they press the power button or voice. When they turn on the Xbox One via the controller, they won't hear the startup chime.
Or if they find it annoying, they can turn the Xbox One startup chime off completely.
Aside from the changes in the startup chime, the patch notes for the Xbox One update will also address bugs and glitches in the Xbox Store. Users won't also need to press the buy button twice whenever they order something.
With the update, expect to no longer see the "Try again later" error message when the product they purchase starts to download. The same goes to the error when trying to play TV or Movie.
On My Games & Apps, the Xbox One update also addressed the glitch which fails to install some of the apps, as well as the black screen that comes out when they try to go to the Weather app.
Perhaps more important than the startup chime is the fact that some users are having a hard time with the Sign-in; the Xbox One update aims to resolve that. In general, the update provides more stability and improvement to the gaming experience.
