Xbox One News & Update: Game Console Previews Xbox Live Clubs, Looking For Group; Areana Comes Out Soon

Xbox One users are set to enjoy two new features of the gaming console, the Xbox Live Clubs and Looking for Group. Also, it is set to have the online tournament platform, the Arena.

Microsoft has started to preview the aforementioned Xbox One features. According to The Verge, Xbox Live Clubs are intended to be made by people on Xbox Live and they can form distinct names for such groups.

As per the publication, Clubs is Microsoft's iteration of clans and this feature enables users to chat with other people, share game videos, and create parties. It is added that the tech giant is set to raise the feature across the Xbox One, then Windows 10, Android, and iOS in the future.

On the other hand, the Looking for Group (LFG) assists users in searching for other players. As per Engadget, players can create their own post, along with some details like the game they need help with, group rules, the number of people required, and other standards they want to set to make the group more engaging to players.

In line with the Clubs and Looking for Group features, the Gamerscore Leaderboard for both the Xbox One and Windows 10 app has been enhanced to feature game results for a 30-day period. Along with the leaderboard are emojis, which are set to be on the Xbox One's virtual keyboard. With this, it is assumed that communication among players will be more engaging.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is in full swing on developing the online tournaments platform called Arena on Xbox Live. Clubs and LFG are set to be accessible this week while the Arena is set to be previewed in the succeeding weeks.
