Xbox One to Get Windows 10 Edge Soon; Microsoft Releases Four New Games [VIDEO]

Microsoft plans to keep expanding the features of the Xbox One to lure more people to purchase the new generation gaming console. In a latest move, the Redmond-based tech firm will launch the console's November System Update, which will introduce the much-anticipated backward compatibility feature for the old Xbox 360 games onto the Xbox One.

IB Times reports that beyond gaming, Microsoft is also exploring ways to make the Xbox One an active Windows 10 device. In fact, recently the company has confirmed that Microsoft Edge, the indigenous browser for the Windows 10, will also be debuting on the Xbox One soon.

Recently, the Microsoft Edge Development Team took to the Twitter to answer some questions related the Edge browser. According to Neowin, in response to a query from a fan about its presence in Xbox One, the developers offered pretty straightforward answers.

The Microsoft Edge team answered via Twitter, "Yes, Edge will be coming to Xbox One."

In fact, this is the first time that Microsoft has confirmed the Edge for the Xbox One. Earlier rumors did not hint at any details or features related to the Windows 10 browser. However, keeping Microsoft's plans for the Windows 10's presence in several of its devices in view, it is possible to anticipate expedient features that could sync the different entertainment, gaming as well as mobile devices.

As of now, Xbox One users are likely to speculate when the Edge will be made available as a preview feature. While the November System Update has already promised a slew of features, adding the Edge may give the expediency that users of both the Windows 10 and Xbox One will enjoy.
