Xbox One Latest News: Device to Sync with Windows 10 via Stream

There has been a lot of chatter about Microsoft's upcoming Windows 10, and Microsoft certainly had a lot to talk about last Wednesday. Amidst all of the anticipation and speculation, Xbox head Phil Spencer announced the gaming console's relation to the new operating system.

Along with Cortana, Windows 10's virtual assistant, and Spartan, the new web browser replacing Internet Explorer, Windows 10 will now be providing a little help to Xbox gamers. Is there anything that Microsoft's new OS can't do?

Gamers who want to be two places at once don't have to worry any longer. Thanks to Windows 10, Gamers can stream their Xbox One games to any PC or tablet. They don't have to be at home on their couch to stay connected.

Spencer explained that users can start a game at home, pause it, and then continue on another device that uses Windows 10. Not only will this feature be more convenient for gamers, it will be more economical as well.

Expense has been one of the biggest problems for PC gamers. With Windows 10, gamers no longer have to spend thousands of dollars on high-quality gaming computers. Spencer demonstrated how easy it was to play the "Forza Horizon" on a Surface Pro 3, Microsoft's tablet.

A new Xbox app will bring notifications to users' attention and act as a hub for content like Game DVR videos. Game achievements can also be synced across platforms. This will be a big competitor to Valve Software's Steam, which has been the major player so far.
