Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Update: More Titles Included For June 2016 List

The Xbox One backwards compatibility list just expanded in June, although it the news didn't get much attention considering the E3 2016 event.

People are still reeling from the announcements made by Microsoft during the E3 press conference, particularly the Xbox One S, the new controller with Bluetooth connectivity that allows the user to play the game on PC, and Project Scorpio console, which is said to deliver 4K gaming experience for users.

In the E3 press conference, Microsoft also announced about the new program that allows users to design their own Xbox One controllers. The new program reportedly as over eight million combinations.

Meanwhile, new titles are slowly being added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility list. Among these are "Left 4 Dead," "Portal 2," "Brain Challenge," "Lazy Raiders," "Babel Rising," "Anomaly Warzone Earth," "XCOM: Enemy Within," "SEGA Bass Fishing," "Foul Play" and "XCOM: Enemy Within."

The release of "Left 4 Dead" and "Portal 2" is a welcome news for fans who have been asking Microsoft to include AAA titles in Xbox One backwards compatibility. Among the games that fans are pining for are "Red Dead Redemption," "Bioshock," "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2," and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."

 "The backwards-compatible games of the Xbox One now number over 200 titles," the report said. "Fans are still waiting for some major games to make it to the list. One of them, the original 'Call of Duty: Black Ops,' has already been added."
