March will prove to be an exciting one for Xbox One and 360 owners who are registered with the Games with Gold program. Three games that have had both critical and commercial success will be available for free. The games are Rayman: Legends, Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite.

Rayman: Legends is part of the Rayman franchise, which has had a lot of success as a groundbreaking platformer. Usually priced at $39.99, the game will be available for free from March 1-31 on the Xbox One.

Tomb Raider received a lot of praise for its reboot of the beloved Laura Croft. This free game, usually priced at $19.99, will be available from March 1-15 on the Xbox 360.

BioShock Infinite loosed the bands of generic shooting games during its initial release. It is originally priced at $29.99 but will be free from March 16-31 on the Xbox One.

The Games with Gold program is for those who qualify and have an Xbox Live Gold account. The games are downloaded directly to the console and are for keeps. According to Xbox Wire, Games with Gold members have collectively downloaded over 100,000,000 games since its launch at E3 2013.

All three games won many awards since their release dates. Rayman: Legends won a VGX in 2013 for both Best PS3 and Wii Game. It also won a BAFTA for Best Family and Social Game. Tomb Raider won a VGX for Most Anticipated Game in 2012 and another VGX for Game of the Year in 2013. BioShock Infinite won a VGX for Best Shooter and a BAFTA for Original Score.

All three games will be available to download starting March 1.
