Microsoft's Xbox Live holds a Games With Gold program throughout the year and for the month of December, it's offering three new games for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, capping off their giveaways for the year at a total price of over $500.

For Games with Gold December, Xbox Live is offering three games for free for players who pay for the $60 Xbox Live Gold membership.

First is 'Worms: Battlegrounds' for the Xbox One, which was originally sold at a price of $24.99. This strategy game was originally released this summer and the gameplay consists of players wielding weapons to try and wipe out their enemies (other worms).

Second is 'SSX' for the Xbox 360 which was originally sold at a price of $19.99. Players have to master nine different environments in this snowboarding game, such as the Antarctic and the Himalayas, all while outdoing their opponents and racking up the highest scores possible, says Cinema Blend.

Lastly is 'The Raven - Legacy of a Master Thief Episode 1' for the Xbox 360 which was originally sold at a price of $19.99. The crime adventure game is set in the 1960's and the player takes control of the Raven, a legendary thief who has to get to the bottom of a mystery, according to Cinema Blend.

Each game was ranked by Metacritic out of a total score of 100, and 'Worms' scored 70, 'SSX' scored 82 and 'The Raven' scored 74 based on the PC edition as no score for the Xbox 360 version was released.

With the last set of free games being given out, Games With Gold has officially offered 34 free games this year at a total price of $584.67. It also garnered an average Metacritic score of 78.3 out of 100.

It was a score pulled down by 'Spartan Assault' with a score of 53 and 'Crimson Dragon' with a score of 55, but was however pulled back up thanks to 'Halo: Reach' which managed to score 91.
