Microsoft has released the Games With Gold options for March 2016.

Four game titles are set to be part of the Games with Gold next month, as per the official Xbox website. According to the publication, the two Xbox One games include "Sherlock Homes: Crimes and Punishments" and "Lords of the Fallen." On the other hand, the Xbox 360 game titles include the real time strategy game "Supreme Commander 2" and the open world, role-playing shooting game "Borderlands," which won multiple awards.

According to Neowin, players are set to walk in Sherlock Holmes' shoes in "Sheerlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment." It is a first-person view that allows players to solve six principal crimes that have various classification, such as heist and murder. As per the publication, the game has a free story development, allowing players to complete their tasks without pressure.

"Lords of the Fallen" is a single-player role-playing game, which transports players to a realm that was led by an evil god, who was dethroned by humans with their slavery rebellion. After a millennium, the evil god Demonic Rhogar Legion comes back to conquer humans and their world again. Set in the medieval era, players stand in the shoes of a societal cast-away and serve as hope to the world.

Developed by Square Enix, "Supreme Commander 2" is a real-time strategy game that allows gamers to build an army to rule their foes. Players can play through three in-game factions that prevent the human race from engaging into the civil war. As the game supports up to four multiplayer online, the game can be enjoyed by groups of friends.

"Borderlands" is known for its "cartoonish" artistic appearance, which resembles the George Miller's sci-fi film "Mad Max." In the game, players take the role of a mercenary from a planet named Pandora. They are set to find "The Vault," an advanced alien technology. The game also features offline and online cooperative game settings, with the multiplayer mode capable of supporting up to four players.

As per the official Xbox website, the game titles are set to be available for a limited time. "Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment" will be available from Mar. 1 to 31 while "Lords of the Fallen" is available from Mar. 16 to Apr. 15. "Supreme Commander 2" is available from Mar. 1 to 15 while "Borderlands" will be available from Mar. 16 to 31.
