Microsoft's "Xbox Games with Gold" is a service that provides free games for its Xbox Live Gold members every month and labels them as "Games with Gold." The list of "Games with Gold" changes every month. This July, four free games are up for grabs for Xbox Live Gold Members. The list can be seen on Xbox's Official Games with Gold website.

Currently listed on the site are, an action-adventure game Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, a first-person shooter called Gotham City Impostors, an action-platformer game Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, and Halo: Spartan Assault, these titles available free for the month of July.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, is an action-adventure platformer with intricate puzzles. The story is about a kid named Max whose brother was kidnapped by an evil "kidnapper." Max can only succeed if he musters up the courage to face his enemies with the help of his trusty Marker.

Gotham City Impostors is a 6-versus-6 first-person shooter game, where players can customize their own "Batmans" or "Jokers" to their personal preferences. Customization options are vast and players can use these options to make their character their very own.

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, is an action-platformer about a luchador Juan Aguacate who goes on a quest to save the El Presidente's daughter before Carlos Calaca, the game's villain, sacrifices the daughter to take control of both the living and the dead worlds.

Lastly, Halo: Spartan Assault is a first-person shooter game set in a timeline between Halo 3 and Halo 4. Players can progress through the campaign's 30 missions using their favorite weapons, vehicles, and armor abilities, and also engage in co-op and competitive multiplayer modes.
