Xbox Live Gold members are set to enjoy the start of 2016, as free games have arrived for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Two games will be available for download for the Xbox One and Games with Gold subscribers, according to Xbox Wire. These are "Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition" and "Zheros." "Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition" will be available from Jan.1 to Jan. 31 on Xbox One and it costs $39.99 ERP. On the other hand, "Zheros" will be available on Jan. 16 to Feb. 15 on Xbox One and it costs $TK ERP.

"DiRT Showdown" and "Deus EX: Human Revolution will also be available for Xbox 360 and they will be available from Jan. 1 to Jan. 15 and Jan. 16 to Jan. 31, respectively.

"Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition" serves as the last version of a brutal combat game that puts emphasis on the elements of flash, fun, and combos, instead of "twitch reflex" and "perfect timing." Games with Gold allows players to gain instant access to the eight season 1 characters, costumes, accessory packs, and playable iterations of "Killer Instant Classic" from 1994.

With "Zheros," players should defeat enemies by beating them or shooting them to reach the next level. According to Christian Post, the game has a close resemblance to the classic "X-Men" video game. Its beautiful and futuristic set-up, along with its colorful graphics and playable chractaers, make "Zheros" a must-play game with friends.

"Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition," "Zheros," "DiRT Showdown," and "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" can be enjoyed by Xbox One and Games with Gold members with Microsoft's new backward compatibility program.
