Xbox Games With Gold October 2016 Lineup: Games Add ‘Super Mega Basketball,’ ‘MX vs ATV Reflex,’ ‘I Am Alive’

The Games for Gold for Xbox One and Xbox 360 have been revealed, as per reports.

"Super Mega Basketball: Extra Innings" is one of the games lined up this month, as per Thurrott. It features ultra-tight batting and pitching game mechanics, along with a novel difficulty system called "Ego" and a deep baseball inspired operations. The game also applies accurate physics, as well as statistics tracking. In the game, players can do head-to-head, 2v2, 2v1, and co-op versus the CPU. The game is available for the whole month.

On the other hand, "MX vs ATV Reflex" and "I Am Alive" are the Games with Gold for Xbox 360. In the former, the players assume the role of a rider and takes tight turns and high jumps as he powers his bike alone. The path is filled with obstacles, which force players to use various controls to execute tricks and turns. The game's new race lines also forge some chances for competitive play.

Meanwhile, "I Am Alive" is set following a global cataclysmic event, which demolished the human civilization. It leaves a man in pursuit of his wife and daughter while struggling for survival, amidst a harsh environment . Cases in point include suffocating and murky streets, last standing skyscrapers, and crumbling city ruins. Originally priced at $29.99, the game is set to be available on Oct. 16 to Oct. 31.

According to Game Spot, "Super Mega Baseball" and "I Am Alive" replace "Earthlock: Festival of Magic" and "Mirror's Edge." The latter two were accessible with no charge until Sept. 30.
