Following the recent free title announcement, six games are now set to arrive on the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program.

Recently, Microsoft announced that a free title would end the year. Now, Xbox One Backwards has been updated with six new games.

Larry Hyrb of Xbox has confirmed that six new Xbox One Backwards Compatibility games have been made available in the last 24 hours, giving a tremendous boost to its compatibility program. However, he confirmed that the new titles would be the last for this year.

"Before Xbox One Backward Compatibility team takes some time off for holidays, we have 6 new releases today. Releases resume after New Year," Hyrb announced on his official Twitter account.

He announced that the new titles are Skydive, Planets Under Attack, CLANNAD, Bully Scholarship Edition, Catherine and Raskulls. CLANNAD is playable only in Japan.

The past months have been very busy for the program, especially with the announced of some top new games in recent weeks. Recently, some of the most requested batch of Xbox One Backwards compatible games were already ported over to the console, including the Xbox 360 versions of BioShock, Bioshock 2 and BioShock Infinite.

Some speculate that the ports were delayed to give more time for the development of the BioShock Remastered Collection, which is now joining the ranks of Rayman Legends, Shadowrun, Space Ark and Shotest Shogi on Xbox One.

In celebration of the anniversary of Xbox One Backwards Compatibility, Microsoft has also made classic Xbox 360 RPG Lost Odyssey downloadable for free until the end of December.
