Xbox Backwards Compatibility News & Update: Phil Spencer Hints At Big Titles Coming To Game List Soon?

The latest game include in the Xbox One backwards compatibility program might not have been the one that people were waiting for, but there might be something more explosive on the horizon.

According to Gamespot, Xbox exec Phil Spencer seems to be hinting at some good games to be included in the Xbox One backwards compatibility program. However, there are no details yet on what those titles might be.

In response to a query from a fan about the lack of big titles, Spencer said that it wasn't a conscious decision but rather the launch is dependent on the results of testing. Once the game is stable, they release it on piecemeal basis, or by bulk if need be.

"We have some I've been really looking forward to coming soon," he wrote on Twitter.

Would that mean any of the most wanted titles?

Fans have been asking Microsoft to release on Xbox backwards compatibility: "Call of Duty: Black Ops II," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3," and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."

Meanwhile, Gaming Bolt reports that the new update for V-sync should address the lag problems previously reported by some users playing games with Xbox One backwards compatibility. The news is a welcome development for those who might have been hesitant to try on some of the games due to these issues.

These latest developments on the Xbox backwards compatibility program was confirmed by Mike Ybarra, Xbox director of program management. In a tweet as he said, "We fixed a few bugs and the latest update addressed those."
