Xbox Backwards Compatibility Games List News, Update: ‘Skate 3’ Finally Included A Year After Program Launch

The "Skate 3" has been added to the Xbox backwards compatibility list about a year after the program's launch.

"Skate 3" allows players to team up with others to from a crew and take part in challenges, or compete with other crews in order to become the top dog in the park. The game is noted for its realism and was released in May 2010.

"The game also includes Create feature suite, an innovative toolset that empowers gamers to truly express their skate style by creating their own graphics, videos, and skate parks," the game said.

This bit of news was shared by Mike Ybarra, head of platform engineering, in a blog post as Xbox backwards compatibility capped off a big week with the additions of "Mass Effect 2" and "Mass Effect 3."

As of today, nearly 300 titles have already been added to the library, including the recently added "Blue Dragon," "Killer is Dead," "Shred Nebula" "RAGE," "Limbo," "Operation Flashpoint: Red River" and "Guardian Heroes."

"Today, you can play more than 280 Xbox 360 games on Xbox One, including my personal favorites, Blue Dragon and Red Dead Redemption - and the library continues to grow," he wrote. "We're thrilled with the response and engagement we've seen from the community with more than 210 million hours of gameplay logged."

Meanwhile, after "Skate 3," "Scarygirl" was also added to Xbox backwards compatibility list, according to Express.

The Xbox One backward compatibility program allows the owners of Xbox One to play titles from Xbox 360 without paying extra money.
