'X-Men: Apocalypse' Spoilers, News: Cerebro Set Photo Released for Upcoming Series Film

Back in April, the producers of X-Men: Apocalypse released some artwork for the film that allowed fans to see Professor X, played by James McAvoy, wearing his Cerebro helmet.

Earlier last week, however, Bryan Singer, who is directing the film, revealed the first look at the actual set of Cerebro for this film.

The photograph does not include James McAvoy, but it is likely that fans will get a glimpse of him on the Cerebro set as production on the latest film in the X-Men franchise continues.

Although production has been going on for a few months now, there is still a lot that fans do not know about the story line of the movie.

It is known that the plot will be set in the year 1983 and that this film will be the end of the X-Men trilogy that includes X-Men: First Class, which was released in 2011, and X-Men: Days of Future Past, which was released in 2014.

The last movie, Days of Future Past, changed the present day X-men timeline, but it is as yet unknown whether that will be explored in the new movie, especially since it is set in the 1980s and not the present day.

Oscar Isaac will be playing the film's main antagonist, Apocalypse, and other actors in the cast, include James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Lucas Till as Havok, Rose Byrne as Moira McTaggert.

New cast members include Lana Condor as Jubilee, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops and many more.

X-Men: Apocalypse goes to theaters on May 27th, 2016.
