'X-Men: Apocalypse' Release Date News, Spoilers: Film Set in Egypt - Premiere Date 2016
New reports have emerged with details about the upcoming 'X-Men' film directed by Bryan Singer. Evidently, 'X-Men: Apocalypse' will be set in ancient Egypt, and will release on May 27, 2016.
In order to generate interest in the movie, Singer has posted images on his Instagram account from where one can get a sneak peek at what will be in store for them
While there is not much information leaked out yet, the dark, almost moody imagery of the Egyptian skyline that shows a giant pharaoh and a pyramid, would be promise of good things and should be enough to get us excited about the release.
Apocalypse is believed to be a mutant, apparently from Ancient Egypt, and has total control over his body. Moreover, he has powers to enhance his physical abilities, transform his body parts into weapons, heal from fatal injuries, and adapt himself to any disease or hostile environment - and, he can more or less arm himself with any superhuman power!
It may be noted that Singer had directed the first two 'X-Men' films, and earned accolades, delight and praise. He came back to direct 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' earlier this year which grossed $746 million worldwide, the most of any of the 'X-Men' films.
The lead character in 'X-Men: Apocalypse' will be played by Oscar Isaac. Jennifer Lawrence, the 24-year-old Oscar-winner who starred as Mystique in the latest 'X-Men' installment will also be in the new movie.
