'X-Men: Apocalypse' News: Wolverine to Make a Cameo in Next Franchise Installment
Bryan Singer is a director who likes to be in complete control of what the public knows about his films while they are in production. This goes for X-Men: Apocalypse just as it has with the rest of his movies.
Singer has been revealing bits and pieces on the sequel flick, but he is always the one doing the sharing.
Almost all of the set photos from the film have come from Singer himself.
Wolverine, who is played by Hugh Jackman in the X-Men franchise, has always been one of the key characters in the X-Men cinematic universe.
In fact, he is the only mutant to this point who has appeared in his own feature films.
The actor made a cameo in X-Men: First Class, which was a delightful surprise for fans, but Singer has stated that Jackman would not be in X-Men: Apocalypse, even after Jackman was seen leaving the set.
Jackman has also been keeping a tight cover on whether or not he will appear in the newest film in the X-Men franchise, but his cover may have been blown.
A few weeks ago, the leather goods store, KikaNY, posted designs for a backpack on their Instagram page, stating that it was requested to be made y Hugh Jackman, who was going to Montreal to film the new X-Men movie.
Fans think that Wolverine may have at least a small role in this film, and maybe just a cameo, which could be the reason that it is such a big secret.
This piece of information adds to the evidence that Wolverine is likely to make an appearance. X-Men: Apocalypse opens on May 27th, 2016.
