'X-Men: Apocalypse' Casting News: Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Confirmed to Appear

We've finally got full confirmation that the most popular X-Men character will be present in the upcoming Fox film, 'X-Men: Apocalypse.'

While it was rumored and highly demanded, many believed that this wouldn't happen as the movie would be focusing on the younger versions of most of the main characters.

Thanks to a custom leather goods company from Brooklyn called Kika NY, the news has perhaps purposely or accidentally slipped from their recent Instagram photo. In this, they show a design for a special leather backpack that is supposed to worn by Hugh Jackman in the upcoming 'Apocalypse' film. The caption follows:

"We were just asked to make a special duffle backpack for Hugh Jackman who is filming the new X MEN movie in Montreal. We started sketching - The bag will be ready next week- we will keep you posted!"

It will be interesting to see how the movie plans to work the character into this new continuity the studio seems to be working with now.

"Wolverine has appeared in every single X-Men film to date and his appearance in X-Men Apocalypse is an apparent continuation of that trend amongst the series. Fans of the series will be happy to see their favorite adamantium filled superhero on the silver screen again," writes Heroic Hollywood.

It was also recently implied that the actor would possibly reprising his role in the upcoming 'Deadpool' film, making it another appearance as the character before his final reprisal in 'Wolverine 3.'

"God I hope so, that would be really nice. I dunno, we'll see. It seems like he's open to it, but it's gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else," Ryan Reynolds tolds News.com about Jackman cameoing in his 'Deadpool' film.
