'X-Men: Apocalypse' Cast News, Rumors: Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, & Channing Tatum to Cameo?
The upcoming 'X-Men: Apocalypse' film will focus on the younger versions of some of the well known heroes in the series, which inevitably led most to believe that this film wouldn't have a need for the regular actors that once reprised those roles. Recent news from a fairly credible source revealed that this may not be the case.
Although it was said that actors Partrick Stewart and Ian McKellan wouldn't be in the film, an Instagram post from Latino Review's El Mayimbe would have us believe that Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, and Channing Tatum will all have a spot in the movie, he wrote:
"RT! BONUS #HOT #MARVEL #SCOOP Source tells me that X-MEN: APOCALYPSE begins principal photography in Montreal on April 28th & will feature cameos of Hugh Jackman's #Wolverine, Halle Berry's #Storm & get this...Channing Tatum's #GAMBIT! BOOM! #XMEN #APOCALYPSE #SCOOP #2016."
Although Tatum won't be reprising a role, this would imply Jackman would return as Wolverine, and Berry as Storm, despite a younger version of herself being already casted. This only leaves to questions as to how the movie plans to work the old characters in.
'X-Men:Apocalypse' hits theaters on May 26th, 2016.
