WWE Rumors and News 2015: WWE Hall of Famers and Superstars Reveal Royal Rumble 2015 Winner Predictions [VIDEO]
In latest WWE news and rumors, several WWE Hall of Fame members and current superstars have expressed their thoughts regarding who should win the prestigious Royal Rumble match.
"Roman [Reigns]," wrote 'Y2J' Chris Jericho on Twitter on January 22 after he revealed that he would also compete in the upcoming PPV event.
However, WWE Hall of Famer and 'The Hardcore Legend' Mick Foley explained why he thinks another WWE superstar should win this year's Royal Rumble match.
"Quite simply, I want to see Daniel Bryan win the Rumble, so that Paul Heyman can take the reigns and dazzle us with promos which will make Bryan vs Lesnar [at Wrestlemania 31] the greatest David vs Goliath story in recent memory," wrote Foley on Facebook on January 21.
"The Authority can put their stamp on some other match on the card but I would love to see the WWE World Heavyweight championship be about the GUYS IN THE MATCH- and not about who is in power in the company."
In addition, WWE HOF announcer Jim Ross (aka Good Ol' JR) also revealed who he thinks should win the 28th annual Royal Rumble PPV event.
"My pick to win the 2015 Royal Rumble is the classic underdog/overachiever, albeit hugely talented, Daniel Bryan. Would I be willing to bet a case of JR's Original BBQ Sauce on that prediction? No thanks, as it's merely an educated guess," wrote JR in his latest article on the FOX Sports website.
"I'd also submit Roman Reigns and Randy Orton as two other potential winners of Sunday's main event in the City of Brotherly Love, where, ironically, it's no friends and all foes. It's every man, or woman, for themselves, hence no brotherly or sisterly love expected."
Furthermore, Daniel Bryan naturally echoed JR and Foley's thoughts regarding him potentially winning the Royal Rumble match for the first time of his career.
"Literally, my ideal scenario for Sunday would be I win the Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar wins his WWE World Heavyweight championship match and then we wrestle in the main event of Wrestlemania," said Bryan to the Sun in the United Kingdom in a recent interview.
"That's what I hope happens. It'll be interesting to see what actually does happen."
The upcoming Royal Rumble PPV event airs Sunday, January 25, 2015 from the Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA on the WWE Network at 8:00 pm.
