WWE Rumors, 2014 News: John Cena to Face Sting at WrestleMania 31 After Losing to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2014

In latest WWE news and rumors, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena recently spoke about possiblity of facing Sting at next year's WrestleMania. He also brought up losing his title to Brock Lesnar in embarrassing fashion at the SummerSlam PPV on Sunday.

"'Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty and persistence.' Colin Powell," wrote Cena on his Twitter page on August 18 quoting the retired four star US General.

Cena was completely dominated by 'The Best Incarnate' when the ex-UFC Champion used a whopping 16 German suplexes in order to prevent 'The Champ' from retaining his title.

Addtionally, Lesnar shocked the Los Angeles crowd at Staples Center (plus the millions of fans who watched the PPV event on the WWE network on August 17) when he hit his finishing move 'The F5' on Cena only 30 seconds after the main event match had begun. However, Cena miraculously kicked out of the first pinfall attempt.

In a recent interview, Cena talked about potentially facing the WCW legend Sting at Wrestlemania 31 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on March 29, 2015.

"If I'm in that mix fine," said Cena to Sam Roberts on 'The Sam Roberts Show', "I speak as a fan, I just want to see him in the ring. I think he has to have a WWE match for the whole circle to be complete. I don't care if it's me, Undertaker or Brooklyn Brawler. Obviously, I'd absolutely love it to be me, but I just want to see him have a match."

Cena is expected to return next week on Monday Night Raw to publicly discuss his recent defeat to Lesnar and his quest to "Never Give Up" and once again become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the 16th time in his illustrious career.
