In line with WWE 2K17, rumors have surfaced on the possible character roster in the game.

According to WWE 2K17 News, 2K Sports had not been able to recognize that Brie Bella had retired from the WWE Entertainment in WrestleMania 32. As per the publication, Bella was supposed to stop appearing in the video game series; however, she had been reportedly scanned by 2K developers.

In a statement, WWE 2K developer Sandeep Giri revealed that WWE had not changed the season of Total Divas in WWE 2K17 game, which suggests that Bella would be included in the game roster.

While Bella's career had official ended and she had reportedly retired, Giri had suggested that she would pursue her appearance in the game. As per the publication, this detail had kept the developers and the company for not updating the roster. It is added that divas are set to organize an event that would feature Bella for the last time, along with her final photo ops and question and answer panel.

WWE 2K17 is recognized for having a wide character selection for gamers, according to Ecumenical News. Thus, it is assumed that fans are eager to find out the upcoming roster for the game. Along with Bella, fans and gamers can expect Bray Wyatt, Alundra Blayze, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley.

As per the publication the DLCs might also see new characters, such as Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, along with potentially improved characters like Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar, and Chris Jericho, whom fans are expecting to be re-scanned for the game.

With the rumors circling on the character roster, exact details on WWE 2K17's release are yet to be revealed.
