'WWE 2K17' News Update: ECW’s Paul Heyman Leaks His Pick For The Game; Goldberg Reveals Inclusion

Former WCW and WWE Champion Bill Goldberg just revealed his inclusion in 2K Sports' "WWE 2K17." Also, previous ECW head Paul Heyman has named a former star he wants to be in the game.

In his interview with Ring Rust Radio, Goldberg was asked about the process in terms of being part of "WWE 2K17." He said that he did not have to talk to anybody and he had spoken to with 2K directly and they had done all the interaction with the WWE.

According to Goldberg, he did not think this year was any different than the rest except for that they had checked off on the game. The former WWE champion added that 2K had wanted him either as a cover or a downloadable character for a number of years and he thought time might have slightly healed the wounds and that was the only difference this year.

Meanwhile, previous ECW head Heyman revealed that former star he wanted in "WWE 2K17." In an interview with Games Radar, Heyman said that he would choose Joey Styles, since he would like to see him, whom he also called Brock Lesnar "F5." For the ECW head, he would love to hear what it sounded like when they were in midair and they were coming crashing down to the mat and heard "Oh-my-God! Crash."

In 2015, Mickey Whipwreck starred in the game, surprisingly, and this led fans to expect ECW stars to appear in the title. In the upcoming game, it has been confirmed that Sasha Banks, Ultimate Warrior, John Cena, and Lesnar are set to appear, aside from Goldberg.

"WWE 2K17" is set to be released on Oct. 11.
