'WWE 2K17' News: Unbeatable Force Brock Lesnar Is Unfavorable For WWE?

With Brock Lesnar as the cover of 2K Sports' "WWE 2K17," it is revealed that the athlete would be an unbeatable force, and this is set to be a bad news for WWE.

According to Wrestling Inc, Lesnar would be facing Randy Orton at the Summerslam, prior to the former's combat with Mark Hunt at "UFC 200." In line with their match, a promo clip was revealed, featuring Lesnar, who looks ready to fight. The video concluded with the "WWE 2K17" game, with Lesnar as the cover star. It is further revealed that the title can now be pre-ordered.

Lesnar returning to cage fighting spells bad news for WWE, according to Zap2it. As per the publication, it is impossible to see Lesnar losing against Orton following a solid show at "UFC 200."

The publication added that the fighting superstar is seen as a "freak athlete" that is hard to beat, despite the MMA as a sport and wrestling as entertainment. It is further revealed that that belief will just go higher with the athlete's high-profile return to UFC. Moreover, Lesnar is expected to make his way until the "Royal Rumble" in 2017.

With regard Orton, the athlete is set to come back to "WWE" full-time either on "Smackdown" or "Raw." For the time being, it is unknown how his high-profile loss would impact the gameplay.

Meanwhile, retired professional wrestler Bill Goldberg spoke his thoughts on Lesnar's UFC return against Hunt.

In his interview with The Miami Herald to promote his film "Check Point," Goldberg said that they were seeing Dana White pull a little Vince McMahon, pull a little swerve, untraditional programming for himself, realizing that Brock Lesnar was the biggest draw in [MMA], pay-per-view history he would imagine.

Goldberg also believed that it was a very smart move and it was great for UFC and WWE. For the former wrestler, it was a cool cross-promotion that people had never seen coming.

2K Sports' "WWE 2K17" is set to be released in stores on Oct. 11. Watch the Lesnar clip here.
