'WWE 2K16' Release Date & Roster News: 2K Sports Introduces First Six Players in New Video Game [VIDEO]

The long wait of the fans looking for additional news and updates regarding the upcoming 'WWE 2K16' is over as they will be delighted to know that 2K Sports has just unveiled the first six players of the upcoming professional wrestling video game and all these characters will be a part of the game's roster.

Latin Post reports that the game publisher has announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles that the initial six players that will be part of the game. These six wrestlers come from WWE, NXT and WWE Divas and they include Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, Bad News Barrett, Paige and Finn Balor.

In fact, 2K Sports also put up artwork representing the players at the company's booth at the E3 event. According to Wrestling Inc., the artworks will be on display from June 16 to 18. Meanwhile, fans can expect more characters to be unveiled in the ensuing weeks.

Meanwhile, WWE Games has confirmed via Twitter that the upcoming 'WWE 2K16' will feature the biggest roster ever in the history of the 'WWE 2K' video game franchise.

According to reports, in addition to the extremely long list of playable wrestlers, 'WWE 2K16' will bring massive upgrades to the title, together with better graphics and visuals.

Recently, wrestler Steven Chase posted his experience in shooting the motion capture of 'WWE 2K16' on his Facebook page. According to Chase, he was contracted to shoot for 12 days to enable the developers get his proper movements and apply it to the realistic movements of game.

Chase's revelations are an indication that the developers are making sure that graphics as well as movements will be equally important and impressive in the upcoming game. In fact, several fans had expressed their disappointment with previous version of the game series - 'WWE 2K15.'

In the previous version of the game, the customization options for players were eliminated and this also disappointed many. Meanwhile, there are rumors a new mode called "Create-A-Finisher" will be included in the upcoming title allowing players to customize their players as well as its moves.

In addition to this new rumored mode, WWE 2K16 News reported that the developers will add a new animation to celebrate victories the player's way, including prizes and belts for a more realistic experience.

'WWE 2K16' will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in October.
