'WWE 2K15' Release Date, Characters List: New Game Available October 28, 2014; NXT Superstars to Feature in New Roster

Recently, 2K Games hinted over social media that 'WWE 2K15', the upcoming installment in the WWE wrestling game franchise, will add NXT superstars Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn to the playable roster.

The website also quoted 2K Games' Instagram photo caption that reads, "Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville get their first looks at themselves in #WWE2K15."

According to reports, this is a strong suggestion that Sami Zayan and Adrian Neville are likely to be included in the roster of playable characters in the game. The website also said, "Hopefully, 2K Games will announce the full NXT superstars list some time soon."

In addition to this, What Culture also quoted NXT Head Trainer and past WCW wrestler Bill DeMott, who is also expected to feature in 'WWE 2K15', but it is still not confirmed if he will be playable or not.

As it was announced earlier, 'WWE 2K15', developed by Visual Concepts and Yuke's is slated to hit the shelves in North America for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Oct. 28, 2014. Following this, the game will be released in the Europe on Oct. 31, 2014.

Latest reports regarding the release dates of the game also hinted that next-gen handlers will not have to wait that long to play 'WWE 2K15' on their PS4 or Xbox One, as it has been recently announced that the game will be available on Nov. 18, 2014 (for North America) and Nov. 21 (Internationally).

Meanwhile, Visual Concepts President Greg Thomas issued an official statement to explain the delay in releasing the game.

"Visual Concepts and Yuke's are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles," Thomas said, "The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the 'WWE 2K15' next-gen experience fully meets our expectations."
