Atlanta is booming this month. Megastars such as Kendrick Lamar, Luke Bryan, and the Doobie Brothers all touchdown in the ATL for concerts there. Next week, the 37th annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards takes place there for the first time in over a decade.  As a lead-up to the Stellar Awards,  Writing Rounds Worship has announced a Writing Rounds Experience and recording session.  The influential two-year old virtual community of musical creatives co-founded by singer Jessica Hitte and producer LeBron Arnwine, is inviting the public to attend the writing sessions, or the live session.

The way that Writing Rounds Worship Experience works is that aspiring songwriters who don’t usually know each other, meet, and collaborate on Christian-Worship songs together. Then, they record the best of the songs and that’s what’s happening next week. Unknown songwriters will get together with some very well-known singer-songwriters (a birdie tells us a couple of singer-songwriters with Billboard No. 1 hits to their credit and even a GRAMMY® nominee may be participating) on July 14th to make beautiful new music together. These songs will be recorded live the next day, July 15th @ 1 PM at The White Bohemian, 124 Thirkield Avenue SE, Atlanta, Georgia 30315 for a Tyscot Records album release.

For those interested in the July 14th writing sessions, they must register online at https://form.jotform.com/221257839647164

“It’s a big hang-out of creatives,” Jessica Hitte says. “We encourage each other’s gifts. At 2 am or 4 am, people are still up writing songs together. We’re advocating for people who have gone through what we’ve gone through with getting doors slammed in our faces or not being able to get into a certain room because they don’t have a resumé full of Grammy® awards.  We are creating a platform where your songs get heard. They don’t have to collect dust.” Visit https://www.writingrounds.com for more information.
