'WrestleMania 29' Breaks Records at MetLife Stadium, Snooki, Michael Strahan and Diddy in Attendance, The Rock and John Cena Main Event

MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ hosted WrestleMania 29, the biggest event in pro wrestling, last night. WWE's 2013 WrestleMania 29 took place in front of a record-breaking 80,000 fans Sunday night. WrestleMania 29 was also the highest-grossing live event in WWE history, as well as MetLife stadium's highest-grossing event ever.

The event was not short on celebrities either. Snooki (Jersey Shore) and her husband were in attendance as well as former NFL star Michael Strahan. The show also featured a live performance from rapper turned fashion mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Though the night included some great matchups from lesser know wrestlers like The Miz and Wade Barrett, the web has been buzzing all day about a somewhat lackluster main event between John Cena and The Rock. According to die-hard wrestling fans, the two movie stars were just trying to put on finisher after finisher instead of delivering a pure game to fans.

The rematch between Cena and The Rock was a shell of last year's match. After setting the Attitude Adjustment loose on The Rock, John Cena finally got the winning pin.

After losing The Rock stayed in the ring to have a moment with his fans. The two shook hands at the end of the show and cheesily saluted each other from opposite sides of the stage. Though I can appreciate good sportsmanship in most circumstances, this is WrestleMania. This isn't a boy's game. At least it was a good ending for both parties.

What did you think of WrestleMania 29? Was it everything you hoped for or was it a bit of a let down?
