'World Of Warcraft: Legion' News: Game Features Demonic Invasions And New Weapon Mechanics
New details on the gameplay and weapons of Blizzard Entertainment's "World of Warcraft: Legion" have surfaced.
According to A.V. Club, the new game content provides players gold, gear, and points. As per the publication, a case in point is the form of demonic invasion the players' characters have to face and take down throughout the game realm, not to mention the players' mission of defeating the army.
"World of Warcraft: Legion" showcases some changes and one of them is the introduction of artifact weapons for each division, according to PC Gamer. As per the publication, players are set to obtain their very first artifact weapon once they access the Broken Isles. It is added that this mechanic will be the substitute to farming better weapons, as players experienced in previous expansions.
Artifact weapons have nodes players can fill-in with artifact powers. As per the publication, this enables them to improve the weapons' abilities and damage. Players can customize artifact weapons, which can earn them experience points needed to power up and unlock new abilities for battle. Also, the overall power of the weapon can be improved by placing special relics in the weapon's slots.
Each class has a distinct weapon, which grows when the character reaches level 110. Along with such growth is a specialization, which needs to be focused by players before giving their attention to the other artifact weapons.
