'World Of Final Fantasy' Gameplay News: Square Enix’s Title Gameplay Reveals A Turn-Based Combat
Square Enix has unveiled the PlayStation 4 gameplay for "World of Final Fantasy" and it features a turn-based battle and colorful adventure.
In the clip, fans can see the sibling protagonist and their monsters in the "World of Final Fantasy" gameplay. With a pronounced 3D visuals, the game sees the duo and their monsters encounter creatures like Chocobo and capture it.
The game's turn-based battle mode displays the health of the characters, their monsters, and the opposing creature. It is revealed that they can attack the monster, so that they can capture capture it easily. The gameplay is also user-friendly, as indicated by the presence of the button guides at the lower left porton of the screen. Players can see the PlayStation buttons and their corresponding actions, like attack, imprison, unstock, and defend.
Players can also see the stats of their captured monsters. These stats include the HP, strength, magic, defense, magic defense, agility, and weight. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the game is set in a larger realm similar to "Dissidia" titles, barring its unique story arc and new characters.
Developed and published by Square Enix, "World of Final Fantasy" is set to feature gameplay, which brings backs memories from the "Final Fantasy" game predecessors. It touches both the older and younger audience, as it follows two siblings who have accessed a play called Grimore, where they come across characters and beings from the past "Final Fantasy" games.
Along with "World of Final Fantasy," Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 15" is also set to mark a pivotal change when it comes to the gameplay. According to VG247, the title is set to a totally dynamic combat style, which makes it at par with the Western RPGs like "The Witcher" and "Skyrim."
"Final Fantasy 15" is also set to preserve its Japanese origins and "Final Fantasy" traditions, which suggests a blend of an original, yet advanced gaming experience.
"World of Final Fantasy" is set to be released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on Oct. 25 in North America, Oct. 27 in Japan, and Oct. 28 in Europe. Watch the gameplay footage here.
