‘Witches of East End’ Season 3 Plot Spoilers: Who's the Father of Ingrid's Baby?
'Witches of East End' may or may not be returning for its third season, based on the ratings. However, that did not stop EP Maggie Friedman from dishing out some spoilers regarding a third season, in the case the installment is actually put together.
'Witches of East End' Season 2 ended with a special 2-hour finale with Killian (Daniel DiTomasso) drinking a bottle of poison elixir to reunite with Freya, and Ingrid happy about knowing she's having a child.
Meanwhile, Killian, who was locked in prison for murder, switched identities with brother Dash Gardiner (Eric Winter).
In terms of spoilers, Maggie Friedman, the show's screenwriter and Executive Producer, revealed details about 'Witches of East End' Season 3.
Friedman teased about who's the father of Ingrid's baby in an interview with TVLine. She revealed that Dash might very well be the father of the child, after Ingrid reportedly became intimate with him.
She said, "Yes, exactly. She doesn't know, so that's going to be a big mystery when (I hope) we begin Season 3. That's something Ingrid will have to deal with: Who's the father of this baby?"
Also, the Freya-Dash relationship will be complicated this season, according to Friedman.
"Well, that'll have to unfold in Season 3. It's interesting because he's been very bitter to Freya, but on the other hand, she jilted him and he did love her. So he has a very good opportunity to really f**k with her while she doesn't know who he is," she continued.
However, the Lifetime hit series was rumored to be discontinued after declining ratings since its second season premiere last July 6.
TV Series Finale reported that the average rating of 'Witches of East End' went down from 0.6 to 0.5 while total viewership also went down from 1.67 million to 1.13 million.
For those who may not know, 'Witches of East End' is a supernatural drama series that tells about the lives of a family of witches, Joanna Beauchamp (Julia Ormond) with two daughters Freya (Jenna Dewan Tatum) and Ingrid (Rachel Boston) living in the town of East End.
