Windows 10 Upgrade News: Build ‘10049’ Technical Preview Seen for the First Time

Just after Project Spartan was unveiled to users, Microsoft gave the market an exclusive glimpse of the Windows 10 using the build '10049'. For those that don't know, the company has been working non-stop to create a better looking interface than what Windows 8 had offered.

On a recently published post from the Windows blog, their hard-at-work team has been fishing for feedback from those who had recently downloaded the Windows 10 '10041' build. And with that there were major concerns through Windows Insider about when phones will get the upgrade.

They write, "We're working hard to bring you a new build of Windows 10 for phones as well but we need a bit more time for that one, and we still expect to support additional phones when we release it."

The technical preview gives users a look of the video and music apps. Once users experiment around, they will notice that the Xbox brand has been removed. Users can stream music and share what they are listening through Xbox Music Pass. Music can also be brought through the Windows Store. In addition to that, other features include a better navigation button and right click menus,

This preview also includes a sneak peek at Window's newest browser still under the name of "Project Spartan". Users may expect to say goodbye to the old Internet Explorer once that is completed.

Windows lets their users expect that minor bugs will still need some fixing over time, "Build 10049 is about a week newer than 10041, so besides Project Spartan what you'll see in this build will be mostly small improvements and fixes, as well as a few new known issues."

They have published the turnaround fixes for most common errors that users can experience through their website. The company promises to put Windows 10 on retail in the Summer for 2015.
