Windows 10 Creators Update, News: Download Windows Themes, But Some May Cost You
After the Windows 10 Creators update was announced by the company earlier this week, the public was given only scant details on the changes. For example, among others, the tech giant is selling themes in the Windows Store.
According to TechnoBuffalo, the new themes, which include League of Legends and Minecraft, in the Windows 10 Creators update are being offered at various prices. The report speculated that these new themes might cross over to the Xbox One dashboard.
It said the Minecraft theme will well at $.199 while the LOL theme is priced at $2.49. You can go to Windows Themes and browse through all the options and see what you like.
Meanwhile, Brad Sams of Thurrot outlined the other changes brought about by the Windows 10 Creators update:
Groove Music Maker - It acts exactly as it sounds. But it's a free app and the media tools are easy to use, just don't expect a lot of bells and whistles.
Refreshed Action Center - The Quick Action has ditched the large blocks. You can use the slider for the brightness and audio, which wasn't found in the previous version.
People Bar - It's now easier to video chat with the people in your contacts since the email window can also serve as a Skype chat box.
Accent Colors - There are a lot more options in the custom color for the Windows 10 Creators update. There's a picker where you can choose the color beyond the preset hues. There's a preview option as well, just in case the experiment doesn't look good when applied.
