Wii U Release Date, News: Titles Include ‘Fast Racing Neo’ And ‘SteamWorld Collection’
In line with Nintendo's Wii U, it is revealed that some Nindie titles are set to come to the console disc and they include "Fast Racing Neo" and "SteamWorld Collection."
Developed by Shin'en Mutimedia, "Fast Racing Neo" stands as a futuristic racing video game. Hardcore Gamer's Dermot Creegan described the game as challenging and riveting enough to keep players busy for a span of time, regardless of whether they were driving alone or with their friends.
On one hand, Image & Form developed "SteamWorld," a games series that follows the adventures of steam-driven robots, set in a post-apocalyptic steampunk world. "SteamWorld Heist" is the current title after "SteamWorld Dig" in 2013 and "SteamWorld Tower Defense" in 2010.
According to Nintendo Life, the aforementioned titles both have spectacular production values; thus, the studio could have made their disc-based versions following their initial release. Now, both titles are set to be recognized as Nintendo's "eShop Selects" titles for the Wii U.
As per the publication, "Fast Racing Neo's" retail version promises more courses for fans and gamers. Reportedly, the title is set to feature eight courses, which can be downloaded in the forthcoming "Neo" Future Pack that comes with the disc.
Meanwhile, "SteamWorld Dig" and "SteamWorld Heist" are set to be included in the retail package called "SteamWorld Collection." The latter title includes "The Outsider," an add-on game content that offers a new ally with a mysterious past. It is also packed with new gears and weapons , along with a new headwear.
"Fast Racing Neo" and "SteamWorld" are set to be released on Sept. 30 in Europe while exact details on the United States release are yet to be revealed.
