WhatsApp Update, News: New Features Added, Releases New Beta Version for Android

Whatsapp has added a feature that will let people know who are the ones ignoring their messages, all at once! Through a couple of ticks, people will now find out if their messages that may have something to do with personal matters or productivity concerns at work has been read or not by the person at the other end of the conversation.

According to Independent UK, by going to "settings," "account," and then "privacy," users of the messaging app can turn on (or off) this feature. This new feature is already available for everyone, provided that they have upgraded the app to its very recent version.

This can be a very important feature for the app since it is one of the most (if not the most) used messaging platform; reaching around 27 billion messages world-wide by 2013. As of 2016, WhatsApp has reached a billion users globally. The app is not only used for personal chat, but also for businesses and as well as international calls and messages.

Also, according to Slash Gear, the app has released a new beta program; meaning after several year, the app will be available on Android devices. With the brand new WhatsApp Beta program, Android users can gain access to its latest version.
