Nashville, Tenn. (October 18, 2024) — Curb Records recording artist We Are Messengers brings tidings of good news and great joy with their version of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” available today (10/18) — listen HERE.

Sticking to a traditional arrangement of the beloved carol, the group injects flavors of lead singer Darren Mulligan’s native Ireland into the celebratory selection. Accented by tribal beats, fiddle and mandolin, Mulligan jubilantly proclaims the birth of Christ by way of this timeless classic. Additionally, his wife, Heidi, provides background vocals. The release heralds We Are Messengers’ upcoming holiday EP, Rejoice! (A Celtic Christmas), a five-song collection set to bow Nov. 15, 2024.

The announcement of their new Christmas set comes on the heels of last month’s surprise drop of fresh original “Give Thanks to God (feat. Matt Maher),” a congregational-friendly anthem Mulligan and Maher wrote together.

Ahead of their upcoming seasonal release, the K-LOVE Fan Award-winning group is currently stateside as they headline the fall U.S. leg of their popular “Where The Joy Is Tour” in support of their latest studio project and the live trek’s namesake. With multiple dates already sold out, the outing — which kicked off Oct. 10 in Little Rock, Arkansas — will visit a total of 14 cities through the end of October, following a spring run that saw the outfit stopping in more than two dozen U.S. markets nationwide. Jonathan Traylor, Leanna Crawford and Nathan Tasker are providing direct support as We Are Messengers continues to take the message of Where The Joy Is around the world.
