'Wayward Pines' Season 2 Premiere Date, Cast: Jason Patric Plays Surgeon Role, Chad Hodge Quitting The Show?
American film, television and stage actor Jason Patric was confirmed to play a role in the show, "Wayward Pines." The 49-year-old actor will be joining the cast of Matt Dillon, Carla Gugino, Shannyn Sossamon and many more in the revival of this mystery and drama TV series.
According to the International Movie Database, Patric will play the role of Dr. Theo Yedlin, a confident and very driven surgeon whose leadership skills will prove invaluable to the residents of the very odd county, Wayward Pines.
Wayward Pines' big boss, executive producer M. Night Shyamalan told Deadline how impressed we was at the talent of Patric. "Jason is an incredibly grounded and believable actor," He said. "I'm so excited for audiences to see what he brings to the world of 'Wayward Pines.'"
In a synopsis that was recently released, it was said that Ethan will start to think that he is losing his mind after the town is covered with so much mysteries. Theresa Burke, played by Shannyn Sossamon, will be accompanied by her son, Ben, played by Charlie Tahan, in finding the head of their family.
Also according the reports, the show is currently in need of actors to play a few characters. Such characters include the wife of Theo. Another crushing turn of event happened recently as Showrunner Chad Hodge left the show according to Variety, leaving Shyamalan and author Blake Crouch in the executive producer roles accompanied by Donald De Line, Ashwin Rajan and Mark Friedman.
The premiere date of "Wayward Pines" season 2 still has not been released. This summer will be something special as fans would definitely watch the TV revival of "Wayward Pines."
