Jason Higgins will make a critical decision in episode 9 of "Wayward Pines" season 2.

Titled "Walcott Prep," the penultimate episode will follow Jason as he makes a decision so important it could cause the death of someone in Wayward Pines. According to reports, Xander Beck and Theo Yedlin will have to learn to set their individual differences aside before they could save the entire human race.

The upcoming episode will follow the Abbies as they continue to attack, and fans should expect none of both parties--the Abbies and humans--to back down. As the series nears its finale, the battle between the Abbies and humans continues, and whoever emerges victorious in this battle will be hailed as the main inhabitants of the town.

Now that the Abbies are already making advances towards the walls of the town, residents will have to brace up for the impending attack.

Some spoilers suggest that since the big question mark about Jason's ability to lead Wayward Pines remains, the residents may consider someone else to lead their group.

The biggest question that episode 9 has yet to answer is this: Is putting people back to sleep the right thing to do? It may look like it is the easiest way out, but Jason sure has more possible solutions than just that. While the other solution may cause some casualties, there is an assurance that it'll be for the common good. Viewers have yet to know how Jason is going to find the right way out.
