"Wayward Pines" season 2 is coming to a close in a few days but a good number of surprising events are still waiting to happen.

In episode 9, Theo had to make a decision real quick. The decision had to do with sealing the fate of humanity as the Abbies went into town. He decided to set aside his differences with Xander to prevent Jason from getting rid of the entire human race.

The episode also saw David Pilcher choose Jason as the leader of the human race. Moreover, Margaret struggled from her wounds as the Abbies approached the town. Towards the end of the episode, Jason decided to put the entire town to sleep so as to escape the Abbies.

In episode 10, a lot of events are expected to come to town. There are speculations that as the Abbies threaten to rule over Wayward Pines, not everyone will be able to come out alive by the end of this season. As of the previous episode, nearly everyone was still unsettled on what to do.

Viewers expect the final season to be filled with a lot of dangerous situations, each pointing to an even bigger story. The series is expected to keep its viewers entertained with lots of action and drama until its last episode.

The preview for the upcoming episode shows that Dr. Theo Yedlin will be the one in charge of the town and will closely work with Kelly. The Abbies will also finally breach the electric fence as they aim to wipe out the entire humanity. Also, trouble will arise as the residents realize that only half of them can go to a deep sleep. The trailer shows the humans creating a pandemonium at the research facility while C.J. tries to diffuse the crowd by shooting a gun.

"Wayward Pines" season 2, episode 10 airs on July 27 on FOX.
