WatchOS Update News: Faster And Efficient Performance In 3.1 Software Upgrade

Apple had just rolled out the WatchOS update which reportedly promises faster and more efficient performance.

According to TechRadar, initial tests showed fewer bugs n the WatchOS update 3.1, especially if you pair it with the iPhone with iOS 10.

More than anything, it said, the WatchOS update seeks to address the glitches and bugs in the software. But there's something under the hood that will effectively make your Apple Watch go zoom-zoom. For one, you don't have to wait for the third-party apps to boot up because all the data you need are already there.

It said that some of the apps in its initial test are "seven times faster than on watchOS 2." Also, there's a new Dock in the WatchOS update which organizes all your favorite apps.

Here are the things you can expect from the WatchOS update:

- Enabling Reduce Motion can prompt Messages effects

- Issue on Activity rings on the watch face resolved

- Issue that prevents Force Touch options being seen from third-party apps resolved

- Apple Watch 2 not fully charging fixed

- New option to replay full screen and bubble effects in Messages

In order to install the WatchOS update on your wearable, first is to connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi and then launch the iOS 10 Watch app. Tap the My Watch tab. Go to General and then the Software Update. Download then install. If prompted, enter your password then agree to the Terms and Conditions. On your Apple Watch, tap Proceed to start the download process and then enter your password on your device.

Before you install the WatchOS update, make sure you have 50% battery life on your Apple Watch.
