'Watch Dogs 2' News & Update: Partnership Between Two Companies Offers Game For Free
Samsung has teamed up with Ubisoft to offer a free "Watch Dogs 2" game to those who buy the new SSD or other gaming monitors.
The news was announced by Samsung on its website which also lists the items that are tied-up with the Ubisoft partnership. The items include:
- 24" CFG70 Curved Gaming Monitor
- 27" CFG70 Curved Gaming Monitor
- 34" CF791 Curved Gaming Monitor
- SSD 960 PRO NVMe M.2 (512GB, 1TB, 2TB)
- SSD 960 EVO NVMe M.2 (500GB, 1TB)
- Portable SSD T3 (500GB, 1TB, 2TB [Excl. 250GB])
- SSD 850 PRO 2.5" SATA III (512GB, 1TB, 2TB [Excl. 128GB & 256GB])
- SSD 850 EVO 2.5" SATA M.2 (500GB, 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, [Excl. 120GB & 256GB])
- SSD 850 EVO M.2 (500GB, 1TB [Excl. 120GB & 250GB])
- SSD 850 EVO mSATA (500GB, 1TB [Excl. 120GB & 250GB])
Once they purchase any of the items above, they get the promo code to retrieve the "Watch Dogs" game, according to the Samsung and Ubisoft news. After getting the promo code, they must log on to the www.watchdogs.com/samsung and just follow the instructions so they can download the game.
PCGamer noted that the Samsung and Ubisoft partnership does not include the 950 Pro line by the South Korean company, as well as the lower end SSDs, particularly those belonging to the 850 Pro. Customers also can't just go anywhere to buy the products. They need to be from the authorized dealer in the US like Amazon, Newegg and Best buy, among others.
