'Watch Dogs 2' Release Date News: Title Leaks Six Various Special Editions, Plus A San Francisco Tech Culture

Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" is set to have six various special editions, in addition a San Francisco culture.

According to Game Spot, the six editions for "Watch Dogs 2" include the Deluxe Edition ($69.99), which includes the base game and two deluxe packs with customization items for the gamer's character, vehicles, drones, and weapons; the Gold Edition ($99.99), which is a Deluxe Edition and a Season Pass for succeeding DLC gears and mission; and the San Francisco Edition, a Deluxe Edition, along with a collector box, a San Francisco map, San-Francisco-themed laptop stickers, and a figurine of the game hero Marcus.

The other three game editions are "Wrench Junior Robot Collector's Pack," which includes either the standard game, the Gold Edition, or the Deluxe Edition, in addition to a 7.8-inch replica of the iPhone or Android app-controlled in-game robot; the "Return of DedSec Collector's Box," which is the Gold Edition of the title and real-world DedSec items, a Marcus figurine, Marcus hat and scarf, plus an art book; and the "Zodiac Killer mission," which can be accessed if the game is pre-ordered.

In other news, "Watch Dogs 2" is set to carry a San Francisco theme, as it is set in the said locale. According to The Guardian, the title is also set to have a new hero, along with a promising tech-obsessed culture. It follows Marcus Holloway, a member of the anonymous-style hacktivist community called DedSec who has been accused of a crime he did not do. Set for a revenge, Holloway is back to hack the city's operating system to clear his name.

Ubisoft is set to reveal more details on "Watch Dogs 2" at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016. Also, the game is set to be launched on Nov. 15 for the Playstation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One.
