'Watch Dogs 2' News & Update: New Gameplay Walkthrough Sees Hacking Techniques, Driving And Customization

New details on the gamplay of Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" have surfaced and they cover the character's in-game hacking strategies.

The video, which is recorded from the alpha version of the game, running on PlayStation 4. As detailed by "Watch Dogs 2" animation director Collin Grimm, they expanded the characters' hacking tool to give players more options. He said that tapping the L1 allows players to have a contextual quick hack and holding it while focusing the target lets players gave fast access to most common hacks.

The game also features the hack view, in which the players can toggle the digital field and see the world like a hacker and identify people or items of interest. Players can also access other people's SMS in the game, resulting to problems on their mobile phones.

"Watch Dogs 2" also features the Dedsec app, which allows players to manage activities in the game. The app also lets players see the game objectives and maps, as well as locate some areas of interest.

Driving has improved in "Watch Dogs 2," as it has become more responsive to many players. With this feature, players can navigate San Francisco with ease. Along with this, players can also customize their character's look in the clothing store. It contains more than 700 clothing, such as jacket, hat, glasses, facemask, bag, pants, and shoes, among others. Players can stay there anytime to change their character's looks.

Overall, players are set to have a brand new experience of hacking options, world design, driving, character customization, and new apps in-game, in addition to PVP, co-op mode, and stealth game play, as per Games Radar.

"Watch Dogs 2" are set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows on Nov. 15.
